SMS Consent Disclosure
Effective Date: March 24, 2026 | Version 1.0
Summary: Leadr Ai sends SMS messages on behalf of service professionals
only in response to customer-initiated service requests submitted through partner platforms
(Thumbtack, Yelp). No cold messaging or unsolicited marketing is ever sent.
How Customers Consent to Receive SMS
End users (customers) provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages through the following process:
1
Customer Submits a Service Request
A customer visits a partner platform such as Thumbtack or Yelp and
submits a request for a home service (e.g., plumbing, cleaning, handyman work).
2
Customer Provides Phone Number & Agrees to Be Contacted
During the request submission process, the customer enters their phone number and explicitly agrees to
be contacted by matched service professionals regarding their inquiry. This consent is collected and
documented by the partner platform (Thumbtack/Yelp) as part of their standard request flow.
3
Service Professional Receives the Lead
The matched service professional receives the customer's inquiry through Leadr Ai via the partner
platform's lead delivery system.
4
SMS Response Is Sent
Leadr Ai sends an SMS on behalf of the service professional, directly responding to the customer's
request. The message identifies the business, references the specific service requested, and includes
opt-out instructions.
Customer Opt-In Interface — Visual Evidence
Below are screenshots of the actual partner platform interfaces where customers submit service requests
and provide their phone numbers, demonstrating the opt-in flow described above.
T
Thumbtack — Service Request Flow
When a customer searches for a service on Thumbtack, they enter a multi-step request form where they
provide project details and contact information (including phone number) to be matched with service professionals.

Yelp — Request a Quote Flow
On Yelp, customers use the "Request a Quote" feature to contact service professionals. During this process,
they provide their phone number and agree to Yelp's Terms of Service, which include consent to receive
communications (including SMS) from matched businesses.

customer-initiated service request. Message types include:
- Initial Response: Acknowledging the customer's service request and offering availability
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinating dates and times for the service
- Appointment Confirmations: Confirming booked appointments
- Follow-Up Messages: Limited follow-ups within an active conversation related to the original request
No cold messaging, promotional content, or marketing messages are sent. All messages are directly related to the
customer's original service request.
